Falling for Him

Chapter 5:

I finish up in the bathroom. Zander is alone. Rachael and Alegra must have went out shopping or something.

" Hey Zan, I'm ready!"

He looks up at me with a grin. He walked up to me and grabbed my waist. I threw my arms around him and gave him a small kiss. Not wanting to ruin my makeup. He looked a little disappointed when I pulled away.

" Zan, we have to go!"

" No, we don't baby! We could stay in all day."

" Zan, we have to get the plan b. Unless you want to be a daddy at 21."

" I want to be your daddy!" He says, and I can't help but laugh.

" Fine! Let's get out of here. " He took my hand and pulled me out of the apartment. We go to the store and get the plan B. He looks at me a little worried.

I wonder what is going on inside his head. What is he thinking about?

"Zander! Why do you look worried?"

" Its just.... I don't know! You aren't upset that I'm making you take this?"

" No! We are young. Besides, it's not like its an abortion. That, I would say no to. This is to prevent me from becoming pregnant. Also, you aren't making me do anything. I would have put up a strong fight."

He chuckles a little and then we leave the store. He had to stop by his work to grab his check. Turns out, he works at the club we went to that one night. He is a cook. I never knew.

" So, you cook?"

" Yeah! I really like it. Actually... Nevermind!" He looks away from me, staring down the street. He is holding back. Does he think I will make fun of him?

" What?"

" It's nothing. I dont want to sound stupid." That's it! He thinks I will laugh at his dream. Me of all people. I just want him to trust me. He already knows a lot about me. I barely know anything about him.

" What? I promise you won't sound stupid."

" Well.... Ok! I actually wanted to be a chef and have my own place. I have always enjoyed preparing dishes. I haven't told anyone. My dad would never let me anyway." He has a sort of sad expression on his face. I haven't seen him like this before. He normally seems pretty tough.

" But why be miserable? If you want to be a chef, just do it. Who gives a flying f*** what your dad wants? This is your life. you decide what you want. I am not becoming a dermatologist just because I can make good money. I do it because I want to help people and I actually like learning about skin. I think it is really interesting. That is how you should feel about your career."

He stares at me a little stunned. " Aurea, I just don't want to disappoint my parents."

"Well, save up and take the extra classes. It might take longer to graduate, but at least you can achieve your dream. If you pay for it yourself, he can't stop you. What if you became famous for your food?"

He looks up at the sky for a minute as if taking in everything I just said.

" Are you sure you don't want to be a dermatologist for the money?" He asks playfully. " I mean, yeah! The money will be great and maybe I could be famous like Dr. Lee. But there is something about skin that I find so interesting. I mean, it is the largest organ." I wonder if he thinks I am nuts. He let's out a chuckle , then smiles at me and we go to get lunch.

We go to Panda Express. It's actually one of my favorites. It is quick and tasty. We talk a little more about our aspirations in life.

He tells me that he would love to travel and learn different styles of cooking. He has though of taking classes in Europe somewhere.

After we eat, we head to the park and wait for our stomachs to settle while watching the ducks.

We go back to my place. The girls are still out. They texted me that they are at the mall. That is an all day event for them. I tell them I will meet with them in an hour.

The restaurant I work at already called to tell me they don't need me tonight. Apparently it's pretty dead.

I take Zander to my room to hang out for a little bit before I leave. We lay down on my bed and I turn the TV on. There really isn't anything on. I just settle on C.S.I. I actually really like SVU.

He leans over me suddenly. I mean, we were pretty bored just sitting there. I have literally seen every episode twice. He lowers his lips to mine and we enter a passionate kiss. He uses one arm to prop himself up. His free hand grabs my waist to pull me just a little closer to him.

I can't keep my hips from moving or the moans from escaping my mouth. He let's out a grunt in response. After a couple of minutes of making out, I suddenly realize I have to meet the girls.

I pull away. He looks at me, a little disappointed. " I have to meet the girls in a half hour. It takes fifteen minutes to get to the mall."

" Then let's make this quick." He says pulling me to the bathroom. We jump in the shower and he immediately goes back to kissing me. His lips trail to my neck. Then he moves his shaft to my entrance swiftly moving inside me.

We both release at almost the same time. He quickly pulls out. We hurry to wash and get dressed. I put on some short jean shorts and an off-shoulder, blue crop top. I pair it with brown, leather sandals and a brown leather cross-body bag.

We walk out together and he kisses me goodbye. I rush to get in my car and throw on some mascara and lip gloss before driving off. I pull up right on time and meet the girls in Lord & Taylor. This and Forever 21 are my favorite stores. I like H&M a lot too.

The girls see me and I run up to them and we hug. We haven't hung out just the three of us in forever. We head to the sale racks and immediately start pulling clothes to try on.

While we are in the changing room, they start to ask. " So what is going on between you and Zander?" Alegra asks.

" I'm not entirely sure. But I'm having fun."

" Did you have s*x?" Rachael straight up just asked me that.

" Yup!" I blushed looking away from the mirror.

" I thought you wanted to wait for someone special?" Alegra followed, pulling a shirt over her head. Man! They really have to get out all the awkward questions.

" Well, I could tell he cares about me. Even if we remain friends, I think I would be ok with that. He is really nice and took his time with me. He didn't freak out when I told him I was a virgin. He just kept asking me if I was sure about it."

" Wow!" They both answered in unison.

" So..... how was it?" Rach looks at me through the mirror.

" It was good! Fun!" I answer looking at the clothes.

" Is that all you have to say?" Rachael asks while deciding whether to buy the shirt she just tried on. Again, Rach had to be straightforward. We have already tried on at least 3 outfits a piece. We have 3 piles. Yes, no and maybe.

We each end up buying a few outfits from Lord & Taylor. Then we head to Forever 21. Everything is cheap and cute. We find a few more things before heading to H&M.

They already hit up Macy's, Boscovs, and Aritzia without me. but they got me a couple things from their clearance rack. Once we are done, we grab some fast food.

Then we head to the Eco Terium. It may be a little childish, but it is fun and inexpensive.

We have so much fun hanging out. Then the girls say they have to tell me something. " OK! So spit it out!" I say.

" We decided, we are going to date." They spit the words out.

" Like, each other!" Rachel adds.

" We had such horrible dates and we would end up ditching them."

" Yeah! Then we found out, we have a ton of fun together."

" We also find each other attractive. So, we are going to give it a shot." I'm stunned.

" OK!" Is all I can say.

" Ok?" They both ask.

" Yeah! I mean I am happy for you both and support you if this is what you both want. I love you guys. But I am also a little shocked to be honest. I didn't expect this."

" Well neither did we. We only decided last night. After that date. When we went to bed, we kissed. It was probably the best kiss I have ever had." Alegra said.

" Same! It was really good. I have never thought about dating a girl. But I don't know. It felt good." Rachael added.

" I feel the same way around Zander." I think about how he makes me feel. They are my best friends. I would hope they would find someone like that. Even if it's with each other. " I love you guys!"

We head home and talk in Rach and Ali's room for a couple hours. We all fell asleep in their room.

In the middle of the night, I woke up. I quietly left the room. I went to the bathroom and then went to sleep in my own bed.

I changed into a big t-shirt. I don't like to sleep with pants.

I wake up at about six thirty. It's pretty early for me so I decide to do yoga. After I finish, I thought it would be nice to make breakfast. I decide on egg sandwiches.

I make the eggs over easy, then fry up the bacon using my griddle. For the bread, I use bagels. I even put cream cheese on the bagel and top the egg with white American cheese.

There is a knock on the door. I wonder who could be knocking so early. I open it and it's Zander. I let him in.

He immediately pulls me in for a kiss. His hands sliding down from my waist to my a**. I walk backwards and he closes the door behind him not breaking the kiss.

I keep walking back to the kitchen island. I put my hand back to steady myself and I accidentally grab the hot pan I used for the eggs.

I break the kiss to shake out my hand. " Mother f ***er!" It hurts so bad. I quickly run it under room temp water while Zander asks for a bowl and grabs milk from the fridge.

He fills the bowl and takes my hand submerging it in the milk. It starts to sting less. I ask him to grab me some Tylenol from the cabinet over the sink in my bathroom. I take two and get back to my sandwiches.

I give Zan my sandwich and make myself another. " D**n you can make a sandwich!" He says. My face is beaming with pride.

Rachel and Alegra finally wake up. " Buenos Dias mother f***ers!" Rachel yells as she opens her bedroom door.We all Crack uo laughing.

" So, did you two sleep well?" I ask.

" Beautifully!" Alegra says with a grin.

We all finish eating and head to our rooms to get changed. I pull Zander along with me. He has seen me naked enough now.

" You should just stay this way all day." He says staring at my naked body.
