The dog woofed at her words and tried to climb up to her neck. Now that its leg was healed, there was a new kind of energy rising up inside it.
"Should I go... apologize?" she whispered.
The dog woofed again, making her scrunch her nose up in annoyance.
"Stop barking!" she snapped.
The dog slipped out of her lap and ran out of the room. She immediately rushed after it.
"Stop!" she shouted from behind. Damn it, she had not even given it a name till yet so it would listen to her.
The dog ran straight out of the main door and to the garden. She was huffing heavily till she reached the garden and found it jumping up nearby a garden chair. Her gaze glid sideways and found Reynard sitting there, along with John and Amelia, looking at the jumping dog with amusement in his eyes.
