Chloe doesn't have control over her life any more. John decides and Paul act. The fact that she knows Laura is in danger is hard for her to accept. She did not plan nor mean for her to get hurt. Paul is not trustable and she must act on her own. She couldn't trust anybody any more and felt helpless.
