ALPHA LAMAR: ABANDONED TO THE STREETS

Chapter1

Lamar's POV

“Son, you are already 23. You have not found your mate and your mother, and I want to retire soon to travel the world,” my dad said.

In the back of my mind, I knew my father was right, but I loved my freedom. I was not like my grandparents who found each other at the Alpha ball the same night they had gotten their wolves. I was not like my parents or my siblings who practically did the same. I have been to four balls and, essentially, after the third one, she wolves have been throwing themselves at me. But who could blame them, because if I was a she-wolf I would want myself too. I smiled to myself at the thought.

“Baby, your father is speaking to you. Besides, the next ball will be held here, and everything must be perfect,” mom said.

Mom loved getting dressed and having parties. She wants to be a grandmother so badly it’s ridiculous. “Okay, you guys I understand,” I told them both.

Even though we are one of the largest packs on the east side, the other packs were jealous because my dad did not follow the traditional pack laws. Our wolves with rank were allowed to live among humans and handle our business affairs. For me, I was the youngest CEO of one of the most influential medical industries in the world. I had 5 patents under my belt, and I opened one of the best bars & lounges in town, called Lux. My best friend, De’Shaun, managed it for me. Lux was my pride and joy. It was like having a baby and watching it grow up into something beautiful.

I got up to leave my dad’s office to head to the club to check on things. People in town were big on the zodiac, so I put together a big Capricorn bash to be held in 3 days. It’s one of the biggest parties I have hosted since opening the club. I mind-linked De’Shaun to let him know I was on my way. I hopped in my car and headed into the city.

I had my favorite song playing with the volume to the max. Singing along, my president is black, my Lambo blue, and I be got damn if my rims ain’t too. Jeezy did his big one, especially since I had a royal blue Lamborghini Urus SE with the customized diamond encrusted rims with royal blue trim, and my interior was just as incredible. If my car was a lady, she would be a bad b***h.

“I sense danger,” Zeus said. Zeus was my wolf and the reason my parents are rushing me to get married. I looked up and I saw Mrs. King hit her daughter, drove off, stopping, so her other daughter could throw the girl’s stuff out on the side of the road. I never cared for the Kings, mainly because they are hunters. I have always had this feeling that they were up to no good and this peace treaty they have with our pack is all bullshit. Far as danger goes, I don’t see anything other than how f****d up it is to treat your child. I let Zeus know that we had more important things to tend to and that was none of our business. He was distraught and disappeared from my mind, and I continued to drive.

An hour later, I pulled up to Lux. I hopped out and tossed the valet my keys. One thing about Lux, we provided jobs for humans and wolves. “Yes Sir,” he said with a smile. I mind-linked De’Shaun to let him know I was there.

I walked in and Yolonda walked up in a tight green dress that absolutely showed every curve she had. “Why do you even entertain this w***e,” Zeus said annoyingly? Zeus wanted to wait to find our mate, but because it was so long, I hooked up with Yolonda. The reality of the situationship is that she is a free f**k and not even a good one. Whenever I needed some head or to release the pressure, she was there. Lately, she has been portraying it as if she is my girlfriend. She thinks I am unaware because I let it slide.

“Hey, Zaddy,” she whispers in my ear while rubbing her hand down my chest until finally stopping at my bulge. Being that I am here to handle business, Zeus came to the forefront and my eyes flashed red. She moved away and kept on to the elevator to the top floor where my office was located.

“What’s up Day,” I said as I walked in. We dapped each other up and went in for a bro hug.

“Bro, same s**t different day. I got everything for the Capricorn party. Drinks half price, wings half price, the girls are ready, we have a VIP set up, and we have the hottest DJ in the town,” De’Shaun stated.

I was so excited.

“Aye, man, make sure we have this place cleaned from top to bottom.”

Day nodded his head in response as I was headed out the door. Time really had gotten by because it was night already. My stomach was growling. I looked around and decided to stay in town at my penthouse for the night. I was glad it was 10 minutes away from the club because I did not feel like taking another long drive.

It felt good to have some peace and soundlessness within my own place of solitude, I thought to myself, heading through the door.
