Chapter 4: Come Into My Apartment

Chapter: 4

Looking up at the ceiling I couldn't help but think that I really needed to start on my list. Getting up and slipping my purple uggs I ran outside only to run into the cute guy.

"Sorry I need to go" I say trying to go to the left but he blocks me.

"Would you like to get coffee?" he asked with a smirk. Instantly my body became tense.

"Uh sure" I say with a smile amuse how he got so excited.

"There's a cafe down stairs across the building" he told me as he rapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Ok that sounds good," I say as I look at him, he was in great shape. Beautiful eyes and nice lips.

"What's your name again?" I asked curious.

"Kade" he answered with a lovely smirk. Smirking I grabbed his hands and led him down.

I was hoping he wasn't like many of my suitors who ended up regretting trying to be with a sick girl with cancer. He seam shocked at first but then let it go and slipped his hands on my waist.

Once we walked into the cafe I noticed how busy it was and how many NYU students were here and how most of them looked rich and were well dress. I knew they were because they either had their laptops out with a sticker on it or they had there sweatshirts or binders with logo. Basically I was sure and more knowing the school wasn't far from here.

"So where would you like to sit?" Kade asked me as we entered the cafe fully.

"Over there" I say pointing to a small table where a window was. With a smile he took my hand and led me to the table with honor as a Prince would.

I became impress once I saw the sweets displayed in the containers, a smile came to me when I saw the logo.

"Um I know this won't leave a good impression but" I start looking guilty." I forgot to grab money" I say full of shame.

"To be honest I don't think any less of you then when I met you a few months ago" he says with a big smirk playing on his lips that I found so lovely.

"A few months ago?" I asked confused.

"Let me see if I remember correctly, you were singing a creepy as hell song and I started flirting asking for your name and number then you actually gave it to me after you started leaving and you left me Mia" he said with a sad smile "You left me inspired by your mysterious ways, now don't get me wrong I'm no creep I'm actually shocked I saw you again and I was going to pay for you so no worries" he told me with a soft voice as he looked threw the menu.

"Oh" was all I could say as a young waitress came by and smiled quickly at Kade who was still looking threw.

"Do you even need to read it Kade? You have been in this shop since you were a kid" the girl told him with a smirk instantly he looked up and smiled at her.

"Hello Emma bear" he greeted before giving her his menu. 

"Coffee black no sugar and please this time no I love you napkin with your phone number" he told teasing her a bit. 

"And you hun?" she questioned with a smile. 

"Hot chocolate and macaroons" I say smiling back at her. She nodded at us before leaving looking back up at Kade I smiled enjoying how he looked at me. Not with lust but wonder and curiosity. 

"You don't like coffee?" Kade ask a bit offended for the coffee. I shrug and just look at him and smiled.

"Not really a coffee fan" I commented as I play with the small flower that was falling from the vase."But I'm assuming you are, you like it strong ha? " I asked amused.

"Pretty much" he answered simply still smiling. After a few minutes of talking about a few bands we both liked the girl name Emma came back with our order.

"Here you go and you" she says looking at me with a warning look ill a smirk came from her "Watch out for this coffee monster" she warns with a smile. 

"She's my cousin " Kade tells "She's adopted " he says once he sees I'm a little confused for their humor filled romance. 

"Oh I see so is she your favorite cousin? " I asked with a smiled, Kade nodded with a smile before starting to drink his coffee. After I was done with both my macaroons and hot chocolate I excused myself to go smoke.

As relief struck me I felt the weight I was holding onto all day lift. Once we left I felt Kade a little nervous as if lost for words not knowing how to ask for s*x without sounding rude.

"Would you like to come in?" I asked him with a smirk knowing he wouldn't have the nerve to lose this opportunity he was given "Come" I insist a we stood outside my apartment.
