“ Aunt, we've already settled this and there's nothing suspicious about what we said. The kids are mine and Monica is Ethan's ex.” Nicholas said confidently, his voice calm as he walked closer to Aunt Ella “Let's take you to your room Aunt”
Nicholas placed his hand on Aunt Ella's shoulders as they both took the stairs and went straight to the kids' room.
I sighed in relief once more as I thought about what had just happened in the past few minutes. Who would have thought that Ethan was going to show up today and start asking questions? What could have even prompted him to think that he had kids?
