Chapter 29: Damon POV
Mark and James appeared demanding that Clara be returned to them. The petty harassment had stopped but apparently they had not given up yet. "You can't keep her from us," James yelled at me from my doorstep. "Keep this up and you'll never see her again because she will be afraid you're trying to kill us. Wait for her to reach out," I said to them. They both glared. Unfortunately this time they didn't come alone. They had a posse of hunters. I immediately linked the whole pack that we were under attack. Nessa and my mother took Clara to the safe room while I phased, ready to fight.
