Arden POV*
I was sitting in the game room, trying to think up different ways to tease Roman about getting emotional, when Sita came in searching for me.
“Hey. Perry just linked. Roman wants us in the office for a meeting, you included.” She turned and left before I could ask what was going on.
My entire body tensed at the words. Roman had asked me to meet him in his office a few times before, but I had never been invited to join in on a meeting. All thoughts of teasing him went out the window, since all I could think about was what could possibly be reason enough for Roman to ask me to join.
Upon entering the office, I could feel the tension. Roman’s anger bled out of him to the point I could almost touch it, and Perry’s stress leaked into the air with a bitter taste.
