Arden POV*
Time to go, Arden. Fae tells me, urging me to forget everything else and just go.
‘I know, but we need to talk to Andrea first.’
I won’t be put to sleep, and you won’t be attending any “tutor” sessions to try to brainwash you into believing this bullshit.
I quickly grab a large purse out of my room to put some of my belongings into. I collect any cash I have on me as well as my bank card, which I plan to empty before dumping, and then I head towards the clearing to meet Andrea.
Fae keeps trying to convince me to leave right away, but I don’t feel comfortable leaving without saying good-bye. Andrea has easily become my best friend, my only friend, here at this pack. She has been the only one honest with me. Everyone else is too afraid to go against their Alph
