“I have some questions for you, little rouge.” Alpha Roman said in a deep voice.
“You can ask, Alpha, but I can’t guarantee answers you will like.” I shifted my gaze away from him so that I could focus better. Roman had something about him that made me instantly calm down and want to trust him.
I didn’t like that. It was like I was losing control over my rational mind whenever I looked at him. It made me miss Fae even more, because at least I could count on her to not get distracted by a handsome face.
