Roman POV*
Perry had kept his connections open, able to get occasional news about Arden’s ex-mate. At first, I was compelled to tell her everything we knew. It made sense for her to know everything, but any time the subject came up, she would start to insist that I let her hunt him down and end it. I couldn’t stand arguing with her, so eventually I stopped telling her anything.
Unfortunately, I knew I was going to have to tell her about what I had found out this time. She would definitely want to fight her ex after this, but if she doesn’t know then she would be in even more danger.
