Confusion and desire are clouding my senses. I don't know why or how it happened but it feels right. She felt right with me. She felt right in my arms. So damn right.
I felt those sparks, I felt Karl stir inside me. I felt all those things that only my mate could make me feel yet Karl didn't call out for her wolf. She was in my arms but I felt something in between. No matter how close I pulled her, there seemed to be a wall in between. There always seemed to be something keeping her from me.
It was like I could see her but I couldn't touch her even though she was in my arms. I couldn't feel the bond with her, I couldn't smell her. She sure smells like me but she doesn't have a smell of her own and I wonder why.
