When he came to, he smelt the familiar scents of motorcycle emissions, booze, and smoke. But something else was there, too. He dug his fingers into the soil and opened his eyes. Above him were tree branches dancing in the wind under the veil of a starry sky. In his fingers were clumps of dirt and grass. And all around him was a forest filled with the same people from the living room. Except there were more people now. quite a few more. He sat up, leaning on his elbows for support. His head was still spinning. Someone had certainly knocked him out. He pulled himself closer to a tree and leaned his back against it.
