Surprised was an understatement, shocked it was. Maxine was not ready for his abrupt presence, she could only bite her inner cheek. She wondered how long he was watching them and the very thought brought chills down her spine.
"Stanley... why are you here?"
"I've been looking for you for a while. This town is too small not to find you." His stern gaze was on Leo.
"Why are you doing this? I told you not to follow me, right?"
Stanley gritted his teeth. "I'm worried sick, so I'm here to fetch you."
