After telling Joslin about a potential business that we were reaching out to I could tell she knew I was lying. She squinted her eyes at me with her arms crossed in front of her and leaned back in her chair pursing her lips. I started to sweat under her gaze.
"Leon do you realize that when you gave me your heart I can tell when you're lying" She says in a poisonous tone.
I'm beginning to panic "look Joslin I wanted to leave certain parts out to protect you and the boys"
"Leon are you going to do something illegal!?!" She says starting to get frustrated and I can see with the way I worded things where she could pick up on that but it doesn't change the fact that now I'm getting frustrated.
