The dragon within

   I've been here for two and a half weeks without any word from my love and to top it off all I've wanted to do is sleep. I'm about ninety percent sure I'm pregnant call it mothers instinct but I felt like there was something different right after Leon and I mated. I've also been throwing up every morning without fail for the past week. Leon and I have linked a couple of times and I guess I could have told him then but I feel like it's something that should be discussed face to face. On a plus side I haven't seen Gage or Stephen since then either. I've got about another month before my birthday. I was told that Leon is getting close and it can't come soon enough. Now that I have an out day it seems like the time is just dragging by. Every now and then one of the children will show up to check on me and tell me of the towns gossip. People are also getting brave and sending messages with the children. 

   I sit down on the end of the bed and put my head in my hands entangling my fingers in my own hair. I take a couple deep breathes in trying to calm my nerves. I focus breathe in through my mouth and out through my nose. I do this till my senses around me fade and the only thing I can hear and feel is my breathe going into and leaving my body. It feels odd I've never been this deep into a meditation but then again it feels amazing to let go of my worries. When I finally open my eyes I'm shocked to see I'm hovering over my body which is still in meditation. I go to touch the bars on the door and my hands goes right through it so instead of taking the door I go out through the window. I am looking around the grounds trying not to be seen until I realize that more than likely they won't see me anyway. I test my theory with a soldier named Erik and his friend Kate. They were walking down the side walk and walked right through me. Im not big on eaves dropping but their conversation was interesting so I followed just long enough to hear how they would love to see someone grow a pair to stand up to Gage and Stephen. 

   I keep walking and I end up on the training grounds. Everyone is working hard and I can feel so much tension. I'm wondering around and no one trusts anyone you can see everyone eyeing each other. It really breaks my heart to see what my people are going through. I then work my way into the building in pure curiosity and I hear Leon's voice. "I realize that he tried to attack you but let's be honest you put him in his place and you are going to need as much man power as possible when the up rising comes." 

   "Well what do you propose we do Gama?" I hear Gages voice ask

   "I suggest you let me tear him down and build him up to fight for us instead of against us. Tie him to the post for three days no food but keep rationing water because day three comes he will fight for his alpha" I realize that Stephen is no where to be found which is strange.  

   "Leon your intelligence is beyond your years.  Sometimes I wish I would had found you before Stephen." Gage is saying "after the three days he will fight my most trusted warriors. Make sure he doesn't escape." Leon nods his head and leaves the room. 

   He walks to another cellar where a man in his mid twenties is chained to the wall. I can't help it but I'm starting to feel betrayed but I let the scenario play out in front of me. Leon grabs hold of the man's hair yanking his head back and if I wasn't listening closely I would had never heard what he was saying. "What are you willing to lose for your true Alpha?" He asks.

   The man spits in his face and yells "everything!" It throws Leon off for but a moment when he grabs the man's hair again.

   "If you really want to help her I need you to stay strong for three days. If you cannot handle the torment you are going through you will forget this conversation and proceed to the things that will come next. Only the strongest will make it to the next level." Leon then throws the man's head to the side and tells the gaurds to tie the man to the pillar with no food. He then turns around and I could swear he's looking right at me but then he walks out of the room. I try to follow but something is happening then I realize I'm being pulled back to my body so I let my self fall. When I did this it wasn't quite like falling though.  It was more like something pulling me backwards and when I slammed into my body it felt like I hit a brick wall. 

   When I opened my eyes I was laying on my bed and Stephen was closing the cell door behind him clipping the keys to his belt. I felt my stomach churn because even though he's never been here alone I know that look. He starts stalking my way with a smile upon his face. 

   "Gage may have forgotten about you but I can't wait any longer." He starts to say.  I feel my heart beat pick up and I try to link Leon for help. 

    He then places his body over mine and it's hard to fight him right now. I feel weak. Stephen begins to chuckle trying to be sexy but I just find it revolting. I let him run his hands along my body and I slowly let one of my claws come out and ram it into his side. The look on his face was that of pure shock and that's how I  knew i was pregnant because he shifted and normally I'd shift but if a werewolf is pregnant their wolf won't let them because it can kill the baby. 

   Stephen started to snarl and gnash his teeth at me. I know he's about to kill me so I sit on my bed and let Leon know that I love him. I feel a tear roll down my cheek and then a burning feel across where the tear was. I bow my head and hold on to my belly trying to protect him or her the best I can. I feel another slap a cross my other cheek. This time it knocked me into the wall. He's walking towards me drooling for the taste of blood but before he gets there we hear the door slam open and a fuming Leon walking our way. He literally tears the cell door from the hinges and picks up a startled Stephen by the neck with one hand. There's a deep voice that comes from Leon  that I've never heard before but it excites me.  "Shift" was his only command and his voice was calm but you could sense danger. To my surprise Stephen shifted and his eyes were huge. 

   "You're not a regular omega are you?" Stephen says scared to death. 

   "No but you won't remember this." Leon says with a smile seeing the fear in Stephen's eyes. "Oh I'm not going to kill you yet but your time will be here shortly. However seeing as how I'm going to manipulate your mind I'll explain. There's no reason for you to know what I am because you don't deserve it. Just know that you came down here to feed Joslin and you never saw me." With that being said he put Stephen down who now looks like he's in a Trans and carries a tray full of food sets it on the table turns around with a blank expression on his face and walks out the door. I'm truly at a loss for words. 

   Leon then looks back at me letting the stoitic look leave his face and he smiles.  Then his smile fades and turns serious "are you OK love?" He asks pulling me into him. I nod my head yes but it's just for comfort we both know I'm not. I then realize this might be my only chance to tell him the news so I pull back to look in his eyes. "Leon I'm pregnant"
