The plot

Kyle let the young girl go, she is just a teen, you fu***** trying to kill her?” A voice suddenly came from behind him. Kyle instantly released my hand. I rushed toward my room immediately and slammed the door shut behind me before sinking onto the bed, breathing heavily as my heart pounded dangerously against my chest. I swallowed hard and rushed toward the window, but everywhere outside was deadly silent. I slowly sank back onto the bed, and sleep eventually dragged me under. The morning sun slid through the window as tiny noises echoed outside, mixed with the slow clicking of heels. I rushed out of bed instantly as something suddenly struck my mind. I hurried outside toward the balcony. Kyle stood there with the same girl from last night. Though fully dressed now, she held a cup of coffee while smiling comfortably beside him. I walked closer to them. Kyle’s face lightened slightly when his gaze landed on me. “Kyle, you didn’t introduce your guest to me,” the girl said, staring at me from head to toe. Kyle forced a smile as he sipped from the cup in his hand. “This…” he paused. “She’s my pet.” The girl’s eyes widened immediately. Her gaze dropped briefly to my waist before lifting back to Kyle again. “Isn’t her waist too tiny for that thing in you, Kyle?” Kyle smiled lazily. “Of course, I haven’t planned anything with her yet. Not until I marry her.” My heart sank instantly. “Marry who?” I asked quickly, turning fully toward him. “Stop it, pet,” Kyle replied calmly. “Of course. Why do you think I’m keeping you here?” “Kyle…” my voice trembled now. “I’m here because according to you, my father gambled—” “With you, pet,” he cut in immediately. “Yes. He gambled with you, which automatically means you’re mine.” “No leaving.” I scoffed softly. “Kyle, this wasn’t the agreement. I can’t marry someone far older than me.” Kyle laughed quietly. “Don’t worry about what you heard last night, pet. I’ll be gentle with you.” Karry nearly spilled her coffee hearing that. She quickly forced herself back under control and nodded awkwardly. “Please don’t mind me,” she muttered quickly, avoiding my eyes now. I turned back to Kyle. “Uncle Kyle, I—” “Don’t call me that, pet,” he cut in sharply. “I’m not your uncle.” I hesitated before continuing. “I have my own life to live, Kyle. I have school to continue. You can’t keep locking me in here like a prisoner because of whatever business you had with my father that I knew nothing about.” Karry glanced carefully toward Kyle again, her expression unreadable this time, as though something in my words had unsettled her. Kyle simply smiled. “I already told you, pet. You’ll be my wife. That’s all for today.” He paused. “And yes, you can continue school… under Fred’s watch.” He turned immediately after speaking and wrapped an arm around Karry’s waist. “I need to go to school today, Kyle,” I said quickly. He stopped midway and slowly turned back toward me, his gaze dragging from my face downward before lifting again. “I just said you can,” he replied calmly. “But not alone. I already instructed Fred what to do.” His eyes darkened slightly. “Don’t disobey him, remember? I paid him hugely for this job.” He turned and walked off with Karry. I rushed back into my room, quickly showered, and changed into the clothes I had picked for today. The moment I stepped outside, Fred hurried toward me. I glanced at him briefly but said nothing. He silently opened the car door for me. I entered, and he drove off. The moment we arrived at school, Fred stepped out first and opened the door again. I was halfway toward the large gate when— “Serene!” A voice rushed toward me before arms wrapped tightly around me. I turned and smiled faintly. “Rose.” She immediately glanced toward Fred standing behind me. “You have a bodyguard now?” she whispered dramatically. “You didn’t tell me your father suddenly hit the mighty wall.” “Come on,” I muttered quickly, dragging her toward the empty classroom. Fred followed us but remained standing outside, watching carefully. Rose glanced toward him again before turning back to me. “He’s not bad-looking though. What’s happening with you?” I swallowed hard. “My life is a mess right now, Rose… and I don’t know what to do anymore.” Rose instantly drew closer. “What happened?” I grabbed her hands tightly. “I need you to do something for me. Go to my house. Check if you can see anyone there… anything at all.” My lips trembled heavily. “Serene…” Rose whispered carefully. “My father gambled with me,” I finally said shakily. “He owed a huge amount of money to a man named Kyle, and now I’m stuck with him.” My voice broke. “They said my father is dead, but I still can’t confirm anything. Kyle showed me contracts… signatures… everything was written there.” Tears rushed freely down my face. “And now he wants to force me into marriage.” Rose’s eyes widened completely. Then suddenly— “Is he hot?” I gasped instantly and hit her arm. “Rose! I’m serious. He’s forty-one!” Her lips parted wider in shock. “Serene…” Her gaze slowly shifted toward Fred outside the classroom. “And him?” “That’s Fred,” I muttered quietly. “The bodyguard Kyle sent to follow me everywhere.” Rose kept staring at Fred thoughtfully before turning back toward me. “I think you should do this… maybe it could help somehow.” I blinked. “What?” “Make him fall in love with you, anyway you can even if it mean sleeping with him” A strange silence settled instantly in my eyes.i can’t fall in love with someone that’s 41… “Not the monster,” Rose quickly whispered. “I mean the person standing at the door right now.” My gaze followed hers toward Fred. “Fred?!” She nodded immediately. “Yes. That’s your only chance to be free. Do whatever you can… even if it means leading him on and find means to pay off the debt except you want to waste your life with someone like that demon…. I froze as realization slowly flashed through my mind. Even though Rose could be silly sometimes… she might actually be right. Fred stayed beside me constantly. Kyle didn’t. If Fred trusted me enough, maybe I could finally figure out what truly happened to my father… maybe even find something that could destroy Kyle completely. Those moment I could use it to find ways to get Kyle down or anything that could put him in danger, arrest him as Gamble,Find means to know what happened to my father or who is behind it… Rose kept staring at me while I remained lost in thought. “I think I’ll do it,” I finally whispered. “At least he’s young… and not bad-looking.” Then I leaned closer toward Rose. “I noticed the way he kept staring at me last night.” Rose smirked instantly. “But don’t fall in love yourself,” she warned quickly. “Just lead him on until you get your freedom. Make Kyle trust him more too. Don’t leave any traces.” I nodded slowly before glancing back toward Fred again. “When do you plan to start?” Rose whispered excitedly. I smiled faintly. “Maybe in the car wouldn’t be a bad start.” Rose’s jaw dropped before she grinned. “You’re more dangerous than I thought.”
