AMY'S POV The sound of players slamming hard into the plexiglass was so loud it echoed through the entire arena. I winced, gripping the iPad a little tighter. Cole had just slammed Jayden Brooks into the boards so hard the whole bench shook. The coach was blowing his whistle like crazy, but Cole didn't move away right away. He just stood there over Jayden, breathing hard, with his dark eyes locked on the other side of the ice. He was staring directly at Ryder. "Kingston is playing like a rabid dog today," Briar muttered. He took a quick sip from his water bottle and then tossed it over the boards.
