Ripples.
“How did I get here? Gosh!” gazing into the dark of night, confusion scrubbed over her face as
she came to discover she was standing at her boyfriend's doorstep, Calvin. She needed someone to talk to and share her pain. Suddenly, she remembered her boyfriend, Calvin.
"I just hope he's home. He's the only one that can ease my mind now. I need to find solace in him."
Anabel breathed a sigh of relief. You can do this.” She motivates herself and lands a soft knock on his metallic door. Unfortunately, no one responded. She got nervous and called his phone. “Thank goodness he's home. Just when I thought I'd be roaming the streets alone on this lonely night. Perhaps, he could be sleeping.” Anabel said after his phone rang from the inside. She knocked again, this time harder, until he showed up at the door shirtless and sweating profusely, “Hey, Any. What a pleasant surprise. You didn't tell me you were coming to see me. What are you doing here? I wasn't expecting to see you. You should have called,”
"No hugs, kisses? Don't you miss me, or do I require approval before coming to see my boyfriend? It's been a rough day. I'll tell you about it when I come in.” Stunned by Calvin's reaction, Anabel attempted to walk inside but was halted. "No, this is a bad idea. Can we please have a private discussion?” Calvin warded off Anabel and dragged her to the left corner.
"Hey, you're hurting me. Let me go. What the f**k is wrong with you?” Anabel cried and nursed her arm.
"I'm sorry, but you can't be here. This isn't the right time. You should have called. You know how I hate surprise visits. Courtesy demands that you give me a call before coming. This isn't your home. You dig? You just have to go.”
"Are you walking me out of your house? That's what this is about,"
"I don't care what you call it. I just want you out of here this minute,"
"Are you hiding someone in there? I wanna go inside and see who you're with. This isn't you." Anabel protested and attempted to force her way inside.
"Hey, stop," blocking her entrance, Calvin spread his legs wide to stop her from coming in.
"I want you to leave or I'd be forced to bundle you out like a common criminal. Is that what you want?"
"Fascinating! Now I'm convinced you're nuts. Look around you, Calvin. It's freaking late. How do you expect me to go back home that night? It's not safe out there. Can't I spend the night at your place? I can't walk through that lonely path alone,” Anabel begged. Suddenly, a strange lady strolled out from inside, wearing the shirt Anabel gifted him.
"Hun, what are you still doing outside? I thought you wouldn't stay long. Now come right here and give me some sugar. I'm not done yet. I want more of you."
"Who was that and why is she wearing the shirt I bought you? You better start talking now before I do something crazy. She even called you hun. Are you cheating on me? Am I not enough for you? I thought we were cool. I thought you loved me. Now tell her to leave immediately. I'm here now,” Anabel interrogated.
"Go back inside. I told you to wait for me. What the f**k are you doing here?” Calvin ignored Anabel and ordered the lady back inside. Anabel was confused and devastated. First, it was her father who forced her into an arranged marriage, and now she just bumped into her boyfriend cheating on her with another lady.
"Is that the reason you refused to let me in? Is she better than me? You weren't even picking up my calls. What have I done to you? I've done nothing but love you wholeheartedly. Is this how you chose to repay the 6 years we've been together? You haven't even called or texted in days. Because of that b***h? She needs to leave now.” Anabel lost her temper and hit Calvin hard on the chest as he retreated and apologized for his actions. “I was gonna tell you. Now you know why I've been avoiding you. I know my quietness isn't fair to you, I'm confused and trying
to sort out my feelings for you. I may need some space to think about everything. I don't know when I'll be ready to talk about it. Don't worry, I'll give you a call. But for now, you can't stay for the night. You already saw what happened. There's nothing to hide anymore. Ew! You saved me the stress of explaining myself to you."
"Are you walking me out of your house? Where do I go from here? Can't you see how dark it is? It's 11 pm. What if I get kidnapped or r***d by some thugs out there?"
"Like I give a f**k about your well-being? I don't care what happens to you. I don't give a f**k if your organ gets harvested by thugs on your way home. I just want you out of here this minute. Just get your ugly-looking ass out of here. Last time I checked, you were not homeless. You've got a cubicle you call home. You'll be fine. Your time is up! Please leave immediately,” Calvin sent Anabel back to the lonely streets and shut the door before she could explain further.
"Why is life so cruel to me? Why am I being treated unjustly? What crime have I committed? I can't bear the pain anymore,” She questioned rhetorically as her words echoed back to her ear. As she bemoaned, her father kept calling on the phone repeatedly, but she ignored his calls.
“This isn't the best time to go back home. I can't stand his presence. After what he did to me? I don't wanna see him. I need to cool off.” She declared and retired to the lounge where she works to clear her head with a few drinks. As she walked to the bar, an ocean of tears replenished her eyes. She tried to hide the despair hoarding her face, but she couldn't.
"A glass of tequila will be fine please!” She ordered the barman, but he refused, knowing Anabel wasn't a drunkard. "I can't send your orders. We both know you're not a drunk. I don't want you to make a fool of yourself."
"You have no right to dictate how I live my life. I'm an adult and not some kid you order around. Do you get me? Be mindful of how you treat your staff. Have you forgotten I work here? I could get fired. You know that right?” Anabel terrorized the barman. With anxiety, he granted her wish. She took the first shot and continued until she emptied a bottle of tequila.
"You're drenching in alcohol, ma'am. You need to stop now.
I won't watch you humiliate yourself. Now this is enough. You need to go home,” The barman grabbed the bottle of tequila from Anabel, but she resisted and requested more. Unknown to her, a strange man seated in the VIP lounge had been keeping an eye on her. While the altercation got fierce, the strange man stepped in. "You need to listen to the barman. Alcohol doesn't look good on you. Take a look at yourself. Your eyes are slowly shutting,” he advised Anabel and towed her outside.
"Who are you? My head hurts! Ouch!. I need to rest my head," Anabel placed her head on his broad chest and pleaded. Her legs couldn't stand firm on the ground. She was gradually losing her sight with her blurry vision. With reluctance, he drove Anabel to his apartment and took her to the guest room. "You'd be fine when you wake up. You had too much to drink so it will take a
long time to get you off bed by tomorrow morning. Let me know if you need anything,” he placed her on the bed and attempted to leave, but she held him back and dragged him to the bed seductively.
"We shouldn't be doing this. You're drunk. I should be protecting you.
It's inappropriate. I can't take advantage of you,” he refused her advances and looked away. She insisted and remained adamant.
"Quit the pretense already. Stop acting like a slut. Don't you find me attractive enough to have s*x with?
I know you need this more than I do.” Anabel grabbed his p***s and kissed him so passionately that he couldn't resist. Unfortunately, he got carried away and shifted her panties to the left side to insert his p***s into her v****a.
"Now this is what I desire! f**k me harder. Go deeper than the Ocean! Yes, I can feel it,” Anabel moaned and firmly held the bedspread. After exploring the missionary position, She got up from the bed and played with his p***s like a microphone. She inserted it inside her mouth to suck every part of it like a w***e!
