Tera's POV Clutching Aiden against me, I made my way to the kitchen, only to see the entire place covered in smoke. "What the hell, Mia," I groaned, holding Aiden protectively. "Oh, hey, Tera! You’re home early. Don’t worry, dinner is almost ready," Mia says, followed by a cough ripping from her throat. I cast a glance at the messy kitchen and shook my head. "There’s no way me or my son is eating that," I mumbled to myself. Mia finally opened the oven and took out the pie. Damn, everything was covered in a burnt crust, but surprisingly, it didn’t look as bad as I was expecting. It looked... somewhat decent, I guess. Now that the smoke had died down, I could see Aiden giggling and clapping his hands together. He seemed really excited about the whole thing, which was even stranger. M
