Tera's POV
"Hello." I answered, holding my phone a few inches away from my face while Mia loomed closely over me.
"Are you okay?" Mia asked, and I gave a nod to ease her worries.
"Tera, how are you feeling now?" Bruno's voice greeted me, and my eyes popped wide.
I didn’t think he was actually going to check up on me after what I did earlier.
"Mr. Bruno, I’m fine. Thank you so much for checking on me," I said with a shaky voice, but there was a chuckle on the other end.
It felt nice hearing that side of him. At least now I knew he wasn’t mad, and I wasn’t about to get fired.
"It's nothing. I'm glad that you’re alright," he said.
He took a deep breath, as if contemplating whether to speak or not, before his voice came on again.
"I was wondering… if you're free today, we could go out
