Avery's POV
"Avery Jameson, let's go, your bail has been posted." One of the officers said as they opened up the cell. I had to spend the night here because well paperwork and they are f*****g slow.
I walked out, and they handed me a bag that held everything in it and pointed to the bathroom that I could change in. I walked inside and stripped out of the god-awful uncomfortable outfit they had given me and had never been so excited to get dressed before. When I walked back out, the officer handed me a pile of paperwork and led me to the exit.
"Don't skip town, murderer." he said as I walked away. I wanted nothing more than to turn around and punch him in his fat face, but I didn't want to go back in there, so I chose to ignore him and walked out front where Adara was waiting for me
