"Thank you for letting me stay with you today," I told Ashlynn for like the tenth time today. I had been here for a couple of hours already, and it felt like nothing had happened between us. She had been so forgiving when she found everything out, much like Conrad and that is one of the many ways I knew that they loved me. True love will allow for mistakes and will always include forgiveness.
"You can stop saying that. You are one of my best friends and, yes, I was extremely mad at you, but once I understood everything, it changed. I just wish you would have been honest from the get-go, but I understand it. I know what it's like to want to keep certain things to yourself and not reveal your past."
