I shifted fast, my wolf rising in my veins as I bolted through the woods, fury churning like a storm.
“Listen to me, human,” my wolf spoke firmly. “We both want Edward out of our sight, don’t we?”
“Is that a question?” I shot back.
“I’m saying this for a reason. I know it sounds insane, but something is bothering him. I saw it in his damn eyes during our last fight. Instead of tearing ourselves apart, maybe—just maybe—we should hear him out. He didn’t show up out of nowhere for nothing. We might be able to use it... to destroy him in a blink.”
I growled low in my throat. “I don’t give a s**t about his reasons. That bloodsucker destroyed my family. And before I end him, I need to hear exactly why he did it.”
