I woke later in the morning with an IV fixed in my hand. I opened my eyes and saw my worst nightmare standing beside me. Madam Empire? What is she doing here? How did she get here? Am I dreaming? Lots of questions were running through my mind. I rubbed my eyes gently to be sure of what I'm seeing. My dream turned into reality when two nurses entered the room.
"Miss Ivory, how are you feeling now?" One of them asked
"Much better" I replied and she checked the IV
"You will be more energetic after completing your drip" she added and they both left the room. I was left with madam Empire and my heartbeat was accelerating.
"Heard you've successfully delivered Taylor's kids. Congratulations, you've done well" She finally talked and I nodded in reply
