Meira yawned and ran her fingers through her hair. Exhaustion overwhelmed her. She genuinely could not wait until this carnival was over. It was truly a burden to deal with. She was certain she would rest easier when the whole thing had blown over. The carnival was important to the people of Silver Hill and she attended every carnival for as far back as she could remember. Tommy and herself had become good friends because of the carnival when they were younger. She could remember it as though it had only happened yesterday. Meira had never found herself to be anything particularly special. She had never been defined as beautiful, she was nothing compared to Gwyn or Sage. She was incredibly plain and ordinary. And though no one wants to be ordinary, Meira had accepted this about herself.
