“I know my brother too well to know that he can kill you when it comes to that. He has killed so many humans that he doesn’t flinch, nor does he feel any remorse when he kills. You won’t be any different.”
That is too much to take in. If I was hearing this from anyone but Lorenzo, I would never believe it. Xavier looks like an angel that will never even hurt an ant.
“Your step-mother on the other hand can’t even pierce you with a needle, she is all bluff, trust me.”
He grabs his cup of coffee and takes a sip, closely looking at me probably to gauge my emotions and see if he can read my thoughts.
I don’t even know how to process this. A divorce most definitely is the only way I can escape Xavier.
