As promised, Lorenzo brought the divorce papers and he showed me the ticket. He said he’d keep them at his place just to ensure that nothing goes wrong. He is not willing to take any chances, and to be honest, I support him. I tell him about Xavier’s tantrum when I asked for a divorce and he only laughed saying he would take care of it. He told me to pack lightly, just basic necessities in a hand bag – in case we are caught, we could easily say that we are going on an outing, or he is taking me shopping.
