I waited with Rin, we hid until Caleb came back, he had to get closer in the building to speak with Astrid telepathically. Which was weird because I thought to initiate that you needed to be a really strong magic user and although capable of being one Astrid was not yet.
I saw Caleb coming back our way and I just had to ask it. “How are you able to do all these things with Astrid, sending your astral projection to her, speaking telepathically, maybe even the body swapping is apart of this too? What’s going on?”
Caleb sighed. "Shh, come on let’s speak further from here.” We started walking towards the town and when we got far enough away he spoke. “Me and Astrid are linked.”
“Linked like how?” I was scared to ask but I had to, why would they be linked.
