The Ravensclaw pack may be using dark forces to control the rogues — that thought ate at me. Rogues have no minds, just feral and very unruly, more like animals. It’s impossible for them to coordinate unless something beyond the physical is driving them. If my instincts are right, then this is worse than I feared. Even with alliances with the Crescent and Black Moon packs, dark forces change the game. Their use of wolfbane — so rare, so lethal — makes it worse. This is more complicated than I anticipated. I need to leave this bed, to strategize and organize my warriors. But I’m stuck here. I feel like punching a hole in the wall. I hate feeling helpless.
