TRISH POV:
" As I tried to get into my house I was stopped by the guards. At first, I knew they knew, and I started to panic, but that's when I got the idea of playing the victim card. I saw Michael and Oscar coming down the stairs and I froze. Why are they together right now is the thought I have, but i am on a mission and I won't let anything sway me. As Michael gets close to me, i start crying and reaching for him. However, my brother Oscar is the one who comes to me and wraps his arms around me while walking me through the house. We get to the kitchen, and he sits me down at the table. I started crying harder and put my plan into action."
OSCARS POV:
I get my sister to the kitchen and sit her at the table. Michael comes in and sits next to her. She instantly starts crying and shaking. We know it's an act, but she doesn't know, so we keep it up. Michael wraps his arms around her and comforts her while I ask her what is going on. The first thing she does is freak out, wanting to know why she wasn't allowed in the house. We proceeded to tell her that no matter if they live here or not, everyone is to be checked and screened before entering the house for the Allies' safety. She calms down and agrees that it is fair and proceeds to tell us that Jonathan wants to talk to his daughter. We both stop and look at each other. I ask her how she knows this and that is when the story starts.
MICHAELS POV:
I hear my wife start telling her story and honestly it takes everything in me to not strangle the life right out of her here and now. I know she is just trying to save her own ass, but until we get information about what we need, I have to play the loving husband. She proceeds to tell us how Jonathan held her for the past 24 hours and beat and r***d her for her to give up information, but she didn't know where Allie was. When she didn't give up the information he wanted, he decided to let her go with a message. Allie is to meet him at the warehouse that she was taken to, so they can discuss terms and make a deal to keep her safe and get the money he owes. I have no idea why this is something that would even be considered, but i keep listening. Trish proceeds to tell us that if Allie doesn't meet him then they will take everyone she loves and that cares about her until it is only Allie left.
Nobody is being taken from Allison ever again.......
JASPER POV:
I told the guards to watch Allie carefully. I go to the kitchen. As i make it down the stairs and toward the kitchen, I hear my mom telling my dad and Oscar that Allies dad Jonathan wants her to meet with him to discuss what is going on and come up with a solution. I started to see red as I headed around the corner of the kitchen. Oscar sees me first and gives me the look. You know that look that says pretend your hurt and not with your mom. I know this game and i can play along. As I entered the kitchen fully, my mom and dad turned to face me. My mom starts crying again and gets up to hug me. The disgust I feel is overwhelming, but we need to see where this goes, so, i hold my mom and embrace her and tell her i am glad she is OK and home and not to worry because we will figure it all out. She smiles lightly at me and tells us she is going to go shower and go to bed after what she has been through. In no way is that woman going anywhere near my babygirl. I text the guards at her room before my mom goes up the stairs and let them know what is going on and that they need to be inside the allies' room and lock the door behind them once they enter. My dad and Oscar and i have some things to discuss and i need to know she is safe while we talk.
I wake up and realize Jasper isn't with me. As I started to get up, the door opened and walked 3 of the biggest guards Jasper had to watch me. They enter the room, shut the door behind them and lock it. I kind of started to panic and headed back to bed, closer to the headboard. Jake steps out from the group of guys in my room and I relax a bit. He puts his finger to his lips and motions for me to be quiet. I don't know what is going on, but he has only ever protected me, so I listen and be quiet. Not 5 minutes after the guys entered and locked the door, I heard someone in the hallway. Jake steps closer to the door and I follow because I'm curious about what is going on. I can hear Trish talking but i don't hear anyone else. She must be on the phone. Then she says something that confirms our suspicion. "She's not here. She ran off when she saw Oscar and his henchman. She hasn't come back, and the house is in chaos because of it. The second they find her, I will let you know about love, then we can trade her to him for the money and run."
I look up at Jake with tears in my eyes, and he just grabs me and pulls me close to him into a hug. This is his mother doing all of this, and he is trying to comfort me. I just hide my face in his chest and try not to think about anything. We move away from the door and there is a knock at it. Not knowing who it is, Jake has me and 3 guards head into the bathroom and be quiet while he answers the door. Fearing it was Trish, I hid in the shower and hunkered down so I was not visible to anyone behind the wall of men in the bathroom. I close my eyes and think of my mother and how she always kept me safe when there is a knock on the bathroom door.
One of the men opened the door, and it was Jasper wanting me. I leaped out of the tub and into his arms. Never have I been so happy as to see him.
JASPERS POV:
As Jake lets me into the room, he tells me what him and Allie overheard my mom saying to Jonathan. Now i absolutely need her in my arms. I open the bathroom door to a wall of men, and it makes me happy they care about her too and will guard her at all costs. She leaps out of the tub and straight into my arms. You can tell she is scared and worried about what is going to happen. Nobody will harm her as long as my family still stands. I need to talk to Oscar badly about this because, as far as my father and I know, the money Jonathan owes is Oscar's money. Why would Oscar pay for Allie?
