Jack dropped oliva first at her house , that girl is a fuc**ng liar, she lied about her car being spoilt just because she wants to ride with us. thereafter we went to our house , immediately jack drove into our mansion , I opened the door and left but before I could leave , jack held my hand and I looked back at him and asked “were you employed to touch me too?” he looked at me and said “why are you being rude ? what’s your problem?” I just hissed and left the car then I went inside the house . I entered my room , remove my uniform and entered the bathroom and had a quick shower , after that I wore a short gown and went down stairs to eat , I was a little hungry since I didn’t eat much in the morning, I came down and started cooking pasta and source ,

Twenty minutes later the food was ready , as I was trying to dish out the food to eat mr bodyguard came down from one of the guest room , I guessed he will be staying with us . I ignored him as usual and pretend I didn’t see him, he came to me and sat down near me at the kitchen counter where I was eating then he said “I’m hungry” I replied to him in a rude tone “do I sell food? If you’re hungry look for a food and eat” , he ignored me went to the pot and dishes food for himself and ate , I was looking at him from the side of my eyes he looked so handsome , after eating one spoon from the pasta , he stood up carried my food and his food then threw it away in the sink . I stood up angrily and shouted at him “how dare you ? Why did you threw my food away ? I demand a reasonable answer” he looked at me as if what I was saying does not mean anything and it made me more angry, what he said next made me want to slap him , he said “you’re just a spoilt brat without manner and respect , no brains at all , you can’t even cook a simple pasta” he hissed and turned to the kitchen and started cooking something , I stood for about two minutes watching him , I nearly cried , normally words don’t to get to me easily but hearing it from him made me sad . So I just went upstairs to my room and started crying . and I was hungry but I won’t lie that food tastes horrible , ever since we packed here I cooked by myself , back in Italy grandma cooked for me whenever I came back from school , another reason I missed them , mum and dad are never at home , I always order food but today I wanted to cook by myself and ended up preparing rubbish .

Twenty minutes later I heard a knock on my door , I stood up and went to open the door when I saw him standing outside with a tray filled with food , I looked at the food and I saw bacon , eggs and French toast , I licked my mouth , then he said “won’t you allow me in?” I wanted to chase him away but I’m very hungry so I allowed him in “come in” I said, he came in and dropped the food on my bed , I sat down on my bed and started eating , immediately the food got to my mouth , i moaned softly , the food taste heavenly within two minutes I was done with my food , I looked up and realized that he is sitting very close to me on my bed , when I raised my head up I saw him smirking at me , I rolled my eyes , then he said “sorry” I replied “sorry for what” he said “sorry for talking to you like that and made you cry” I was shocked how did he know I cried , as if he was reading my mind he said “your eyes is red and swollen” I said “it so okay, I was mean to you and I’m sorry” he replied “apology accepted” .

After that we started about random things I noticed he didn’t talk about any personal things, and so did I , thereafter he took the empty tray from me and left my room . after I have thanked him again for the food and apologized for my past behavior to him , he is really a nice guy . I was about to lie down a little when my phone started ringing , I looked at the caller ID and I saw it’s oliva calling me , I picked and she started asking me if they is any gist about jack , and I told her about our little escapade and she was surprised that a guy like jack can cook . next she asked me if I liked him , I said no , she said it a lie that she knows me I denied it when deep down I knew she was telling the truth . after that we talked about random things and school stuffs , after that I heard a knock on my door , so I said bye to oliva ended the call . When I opened the door I saw my mum standing outside looking gorgeous as usual , even in her late thirties she was still smoking hot , she came in and I greeted her she answered me , next she gave me a box , my parents love to spoil me with gift , I was curious to know what’s inside to immediately she gave me the box opened it to find the most beautiful chain I have ever seen ,a diamond locket , I opened the locket and I saw a family picture of me and my parents, I was very happy , immediately , my mum slip the chain on my neck and she said “honey no matter what don’t ever removed the chain from your neck” I replied “yes mum” I didn’t bother asking her why because I loved the chain .

after my mum left my room , I went down stairs to have a word with my dad , I entered his mini office inside our house , when I entered he was making a call immediately he saw me ended the call and gestured for me to come and sit and I did , I said “dad I’m sorry for talking to you like that this morning , I was angry” he replied “honey it’s okay I understand ” we talked about a few things and a few hours later I went to my room and slept .

The next morning I woke up a little bit early so I will order food then eat before going to school since I did not eat before going to bed last night. so I quickly brushed my teeth, had my bath , wore my uniform , brushed my hair and lastly sprayed my chocolate scent, I already ordered the food before bathing so by the time I came down from my room , the security guy came to give me the food . I ordered two potions for me and jack since he prepared food for me last night I decided to return the favor, then I went to the guest room jack was given . when I got to the door and wanted to knock I heard him speaking to somebody on the phone saying “everything is going as planned , no need to worry” when I heard that I was shocked , it was as if he knew somebody was there , in that instance he stopped talking and opened the door and saw me there , he asked me angrily “are you eavesdropping on me?” in an angry tone I answered “no I just came to tell you that I ordered food for you to eat since you cooked for me yesterday” he said “I will be down in a minute”.

he came down , we ate together and he dropped me at school as usual , our ride was quiet, she didn’t talk to e all through the ride . and I was restless because of what I heard and I know this bodyguard of mine behaves suspicious but I can’t place my hand on it.

oliva didn’t come to school today so my day went badly , immediately school was over I came outside and I saw my handsome bodyguard waiting for me, when he saw me he took my hand and led me inside the car in a romantic way , I blushed , in that moment I forgot all about my worries about him and I decided to enjoy the moment, he entered inside the car and started driving , when I noticed we were not going to the direction of our mansion I asked him “where are we going” he replied “it is a surprise and I wanted to say I’m sorry about the way I talked to you this morning” I just kept quiet because I don’t know what to say , and he kept driving until we stoped at a restaurant and we sat near the window , and ordered for our food , we started talking about our day , he complimented me about my dark skin and long legs I thanked him in that moment it was so romantic we were about to kiss before the waitress brought our food so we started eating . suddenly they was a scared look on his face , then he intentionally drop a spoon on the floor and he said “Dovina look at me , at the count of five I want to pick the spoon on the floor , I know you are fu**ing nosy but please just do as I said” I was scared but I nodded, he started counting one , two , three , four , five immediately he said five I bent down and picked the spoon .

In that moment there was a gun shot and instantly I lied down on the floor, when I looked up the shot was taken at me , if not that I bent down like jack told me I would have been dead , in that moment they were many questions running through my head , how did he know they were going to kill me ?, did he see them coming ? before I could speak , I was dragged by jack and we went outside and entered the car . By the time we came out, the people that tried to kill me had left . so jack drove quickly to our mansion and told me to go inside that he will be back soon , but before I could leave the car he held my hand and said “Dovina please promise me you won’t tell your parents what happened today?” I said “why” he said “if you tell them they would think I’m not capable of guarding you , and they will asked why I took you out” , I understand what his is saying but I knew they was more to it but I didn’t say anything . I wanted to ask him what is going on but didn’t , I just obeyed him like a good girl and went in .

When I entered the house I went straight to my room to lie down and reminisce on what happened today , not up to ten minutes my dad came in looking worried then I asked him “dad what is happening” , then he sat down beside me and hugged me I was scared because my dad is never showed his emotion, even when he is angry you won’t know , so I asked again “dad what is it” he just looked at me with an eyes of pity , I wanted to tell him what happened today but I could not because jack made me promised him not to tell my parents anything so I didn’t . Then my dad gave me a small card , and told me no matter what I should protect the card , he told me to open the locket given to me by my mum , I did then he inserted the card into the locket and made me wear it . Then he gave me a big bag , I didn’t even notice he came with a bag , and he asked me not to open the bag that when the time is right I should open it . then he said “ everything you will need is in there” in that moment I broke into tears because i d not understand what’s going on then I and asked him “dad what is going on?” He only asked me to calm down then he gave me a recorder and ask me to keep it save , next he told me he loves me that I should not hate him , that this wasn’t the life he wanted for me , I started crying “what is going on daddy?” he wanted to say something but in that moment we heard a gun shot , he brought out a gun is his pocket and ran outside but before he left he told me not to come out that I should wait for him, then he kissed me on my forehead and told me that he loved me before going out .
