“I read a Songwriter Magazine article,” Erin explained. “Mia said, having one of her songs performed on stage was like opening a window to the darkest places of her soul.”
Jack had a look of longing on his face as he closed his eyes for a moment but he chuckled a little at the memory. “She was always melodramatic in those stupid interviews.”
“I found it to be a very enlightening statement.” Erin continued. She couldn’t imagine that kind of exposure and the courage it took for someone to open themselves up to the public that way, no matter how dramatic Jack thought it was.
