The moon was just perfectly round, the sky was clear as the wind tossed my hair rivthe direction if it's movement, my heart was heavy, I was sad I've met him for only one day so why is the news of him getting married to another so painful. “the view from up here is quite astonishing isnt it......"

Ashton's pov

“can you be excused?" I asked my dad gave me a look that could burn down the tallest buildings, but I didn't care I didn't wait foran approval and just left the table, I knew that I had caused sonnet pain even though I never meant for any of this to happen.

“tou must forgive my sons manners maybe he ate something that didn't agre with him" my kon said making excuses for my absence, I left the dining area and was searching for herall over the house, I walked yo to charlie the other maid, “have you seen sonnet?" I asked worriedly, she shook her head, no I haven't seen her"

I walked quickly still searching for her when I caught a glimpse of a shadow up in my vantage point, I knew immediately that it was her, I quickly walked up the flight if stairs rather quickly, and finally tri d to compose myself and wondering what to say, but before I had the time to figure that out, I was already close to her.

“the view from up here is quite astonishing isnt it" I announced my presence, but she didn't turn “dint you have a dinner to back to" she said as I could feel sadness welled up in he voice, I took that opportunity to go closer to her, then I squatted down to her length, and stared at her face, “i know that I caused you pain but you have to believe me, I didn't know that this was the purpose of this dinner"

She shifted her gaze away from me, I stood up and backed her;

We could make it through this incident with a little bit of luck

I didn't finish my poem when I brought out a box it was transparent and she could see through the box, a smile lit into the end of her face, it made me happy, “peacock" she completed my rhyme, “what made you so sure that I liked rhymes?" She asked me, “well your name was a give away" I said slightly laughing, and she laughed too finally that amazing smile was back.

She opened the box picjed out the dress and held it in front of her body, “it fits perfectly," she said as my gaze couldn't leave her bright pink lips, I got closer to her as she stared at me, her dark eyes glistening in the moonlight, I brought my head towards her but she pulled back with a sad smile this time,

“Ashton, we can't be together, we are from two different worlds, it would never work between us" she said avoiding my gaze.

“id do anything to keep us together" I said as she looked at me “anything" I said sincerely as she just hugged me.

I sat with her as she pointed to one of the stars, “that one looks like a a pony" “i don't see it" I replied smiling a little, “yoive got to squint your eyes and bend your face a little" sh said as she used her hands to bend my head a little, “alrkght I think I see your pony now" I exclaimed excitedly.

Someone walked up to us, “master Ashton your father seeks your presence at the dining hall" Charlie said as she bowed her head, “i have to go, but I'll see you as soon as I can" I said as she just nodded, I stood up and dusted my clothes and walked off with Charlie heading towards the dining but they were no longer there but now in the living room,

“son you slent quite a long time in the bathroom are you alright?" My mom, said as I took my seat, and their daughters tried to stifle a laughter, “im alright mother, maybe it's bad chilly but I've got an iron, stomach" I said as I took my seat,

“maybe it's soft iron judging from the amount of time of spent in there" she said again, “Valentina let the yound lad be" her father said, ”what did I miss" I asked “well, Ariel and I are going to visit a very important, facility in london" my mom said, “you mean go shopping" Valentina said, “what ever you call it dear" Valentina's mom said as smiling happilly.

“so we are going to be off a few days, but when we get back the vostocs can go back to Russia, at least you could use this time to know your future wife better" my mom said, but those words left a butter after taste in my mouth, I shrugged the thought off.

Sonnets pov

We were still doing the dishes from the previous night before, the dishes were so much, I needed another pair of hands, charlie walked up to me, “oh great charlie you are here, would you please lend me a hand in doing the dishes," I pleaded. “i could, help you but I want to know, what's happening between you and the masters son?" She asked with a sly smile in her face.

I looked at her intently “to be honest with you I don't really know," “be careful, sonnet, he is going to get married to valentina" she said I tried nit to feel bad but it didnt work, what was I even doing,

“id help you do the dishes but I also have a hurdle of my own" she said as she showed me a long list it was longer than the one that I took to the market before I got distracted. And she walked away.

Maxwell Baileys pov

Things were finally starting to look up for us, once Ashton gets married, to valentina our empire was going to be set, I took another sip of the wine in front of me, I couldn't get enough of the wine, it was so damn delicious, or because if his elates my spirit was my appetite for the wine got bigger.

I came into the house as one of the helps passed by me at the door, “good morning master Bailey" she greeted as bowed her head, I just replied with my eyes slightly blurry, I staggered through the staircase, the house was unusually empty that's when my foggy memory remembered that my wife had travelled to France with Mrs Vostoc.

I almost fell down the stairs when someone caught me, “mr Bailey please sir let help you get to your room" she said well I could use the help, because I wasn't seeing clearly anymore.

Sonnets pov

I wasnt di e with the dishes yet but I got thirsty so I decided to help myself to a glass of water, but before I could get the cup I saw Mr Bailey staggering g through the stairase he was completely intoxicated, if he got Injured, especially now that Mrs Brailey wasn't around she woukd make life hell for everyone in this house.

I hurried to the staircase and held onto him and right in time I might add because he was about to topple over, he was heavier than I expected but I was still trying to get to the top of the stairs, “you know Auburn you look as ravishing as ever" he said completely freaking me out.

“your hair has always been so soft and your skin as suome as cream," he kept on chanting I was too terrified to say anything, I just wanted to drop him off at his front door, and hurriedly ran back to my duty, but as we finally got to his front door I turned around to leave, “Auburn don't leave me" he said grabbing unto my arm.

“Mr Brailey I am not your wife I am just the help" I said looking around and wishing that someone would just come back and put a stop to this, “come on Auburn, theres no need for one of your usual tricks" he said as his grip on my arms tightened, I tried to pull my self free but now he had used both his arms to grab unto my body and pulled me roughly into the room.

I wondered how a drunk man could be this strong, “sir please you don't want to do this!" I said completely scared as he was coming near me, “you are my wife of course I want to do this" he pinned me down on the bed and kissed my neck I was struggling as much as I could but his grip was so firm on my hands, “sir please you don't wanna do this" I pleaded as his hands went down my inner thigh and was tugging on my underwear.........
