Homegroup bell brought me out of my thoughts, only to realize Em and Char were already at the end of the corridor. Sprinting up to there, I tried to get to them as quick as possible, only to misplace my footing.
Tripping over, I fall to the ground. Wow, I sound like those little preppy girls right now. What's next, my 'soulmate' will come out and help me. We look eyes and it will be happily ever after. Yeah, I think not. Well, at least nothing can get worse.
Picking up my things as quickly as possible, I look up with a sassy remark read in hand, but get lost in those eyes. The eyes that have haunted me, for eight years. That have given me nightmares ever since the accident. Oh great.
Coming back to reality, I realize I meant to say something.
"Sorry, Alpha Liam. it won't happen again." Alpha Liam looks at me with a shocked face. Huh, he must have never met a human who knows werewolves are inexistent. Wow, stupid alpha he is.
"Liam." his voice cuts me out of my thoughts. That ruff voice, that can annoy you to death.
"Pardon me?" I asked trying to be polite, even though I just want to kill him with the gun, that's in my school bag digging a whole to get out.
"Liam, just call me Liam. Please" He begs, looking straight in my eyes. Wait, what. What has gotten into him? 8 years ago, he promised that he will find me. And he will kill me. Okay, weird. After a while, I realised that I needed to find an excuse and get out of there urgently.
"Uh, sorry Alp.. alph... alpha Liam. It won't happen again." I say and with that sprint the hell away from theirs. Well looks like things just got worse for me. Great! Note the sarcasm.
