Old group of friends

When they arrived at the meeting place the first one they saw was Marco. Angelo immediately noticed him and went to hug him. Marco didn't seem to remember him but when he saw Lila he knew that it was Angelo. Lila stood by when both of them started talking about what had happened and how much they changed. It didn't took long before Adam showed up. He saw Lila and went to hug her and whispered in her ear:

- Who is he?! You called me here to meet him?!!

- He's Angelo, - she said while whispering - don't you remember him? I told you we would go out with him today and you agreed.

- Oh...he has changed a lot that's why I didn't notice it was him.

- I know I didn't notice at first too but anyway go meet him.

- Right let me go meet him now.

They stopped whispering and when Angelo said what they were talking about, they said that it was nothing. Adam and Angelo were looking at each other. It was very awkward for them since none of them remembered the other. In the end they decided to hug and have a more awkward than awkward conversation:

- Hi! How are you uhm...Adam?

- I'm fine thanks. And how have you been Angelo?

- I've been good too thank you.

- That's good.

- Yeah...

The awkwardness broke when Sean arrived. When Angelo saw a boy walking towards them, he asked Lila if he was Sean, and it was him indeed. He had changed so much that if Angelo would see him in the street, he would just walk past him and same would happen with Sean. Sean's greeting was formal, like he was talking to someone he doesn't know or with someone older. Angelo, while wanting to break the ice, decided he would do their special handshake. Only these two boys knew it and that handshake was their special thing, the thing that made them be noticed as best friends everywhere in that small town. When Angelo said that, Sean said that he didn't remember it and that they should get going. Sean was so cold towards Angelo, and this made Angelo feel bad, but he still didn't give up. He wanted to go back to those happy days when him and Sean would stay together all day without thinking about anything else except what to do the next day.

They all started walking and Angelo was next to Lila all the time. It was very awkward for him to stay with anyone else except Lila and Sean, but since Sean had changed he stood with Lila. Next to him were Marco and Adam and next to Lila was Sean. He was nothing like he used to be with Angelo. The only person that he still talked with from our used to be group of friends, was Lila. He trusted her, and not only him but Adam and Marco too. It looked like she was still in contact with them even after Angelo left. The first place that they wanted to go was in the mall. They walked in at a jewelry store since Lila's birthday was coming soon. Sean saw matching bracelets and asked Lila if he should get them for himself and her. Lila saw them and told him that they were cute. Sean bought them and Adam bought something too. Lila was the last one to walk out of the store and after that store they went in at a clothing store. When they went in there, Marco saw a cute dress and wanted to see if Lila liked it. She got it and went in the changing room. It fitted her really good and everyone liked it. Marco bought the dress and soon after that they left the store. They were tired already so they decided to go sit somewhere to eat. After finishing, they started heading home. Angelo felt bad that he couldn't do anything to break the ice with everyone but he had more chances. They'd go out the next day too so maybe, he thought that the next day would be better and that's how Angelo's second day went.
