Two days after their lake date, Mariam told Adam that her brothers and their mates would be arriving that day.
“I wanted to ask you if we could go into the city after they arrive. I’d like to get a dress for the gathering and maybe have a triple lunch date,” she said.
“Absolutely, sweetness,” he replied. “Anything you want, I just want you to be happy.”
Mariam’s family arrived after breakfast. Daphne received the link from the guards at the gate and sent the message along to Adam so he could tell Mariam. Everyone met the new arrivals outside of the pack house. Mariam was happy to see her brothers, but she was more excited to see her best friend.
When the car pulled up out front, next to where Adam had parked his car, and everyone got out, Carmela and Mariam ran into each other’s arms
