At Sunrise Valley, Alpha Jeremy was having a training session with his son, Jared. Jared would be taking over the pack in a few months and Jeremy wanted his son to be ready. He was excited to pass the title on to his son, as every Alpha is. Usually they wait until their son has found a mate or turns 21, but Jeremy had been training his son since he was 10 years old.
Jared was carefully reading the text his father had given him, regarding wolf laws. Although each pack had their own set of laws, there was a council of Elders that governed the entire American Werewolf race and they set forth the Werewolf laws many, many years ago. Jared was making sure he knew them all by heart.
