Saturday morning, Daphne and Lexia were both knocking on Adam and Mariam’s door bright and early. They were followed by Carmela, Celeste, Brenda, Katie, Jill and Mariam's two aunts. They were loaded with gown bags, make-up, hair products and breakfast for Mariam. Adam had spent the night in Mariam’s guest room, where she stayed before accepting the mate bond.
The women spent hours getting prepared. The men spent half of the day in the game room before they started getting ready. They all knew the women would take a long time. When the men were dressed and ready, they headed out back to make sure everything was going to plan.
Upstairs, the women were pampered. There was a whole staff of women giving massages, doing manicures, styling hair and applying make-up. Mariam even had a pedicure.
