CHAPTER SIX

576 Words
Camella's POV: After I had made my way out of the ballroom by avoiding the media, I was able to find a secluded spot to cry my eyes out without anyone watching. You see I am not hurt by what Lewis has done but by the fact that my family just stand by and watch everything happen. I stayed there for a while trying to rub my bruised wrist, I quickly grabbed my purse remembering that I had placed wipes in it in case of emergency, I began to rub my lips harshly in hopes of getting his lips off mine. After deciding that my lips were clean enough I tried to retouch my makeup so it won't look like I just balled my eyes out. As I was applying lipstick to my lips, two men in Black suits suddenly appeared. "Ma you have been requested to come with us", one of them said as he held his hand in the direction of where I am supposed to be headed. "And why should I go with you?" I said trying to subtly create some distance between us without them noticing but like always luck was not on my side. "Ma it's either you come with us willingly or we end up using force and I am sure you will not like that", the same guy said advancing towards me. "You have got the wrong person", I tried to say but the other guy gripped my hand tightly as he dragged me through the back door in the kitchen and to the parking lot with me kicking and screaming hoping for a miracle to happen. "Please leave me alone, I am so sorry, please just leave me alone", I said noticing Lewis coming behind us. The men refused to listen to me but rather pushed me down to the ground harshly causing me to sprain my foot on my landing. Lewis came up behind me and tugged on my hair rather harshly causing me to whimper in pain. "You dared to push me away in front of everyone, I had told you that all your actions have consequences and it's best for you to obey but what did you do?" I watched as Lewis raised his other hand that was not attached to my hair wanting to hit me, I closed my eyes waiting to feel the impact but it never came but a voice did. "Lewis, I wouldn't hit her if I were you", the voice said stopping Lewis in his step. I opened my eyes to look into the eyes of the person who saved me. Arthur Smith, his light green eyes with a hint of gold in his Iris, midnight black hair that looks like he has ran his hand through it multiple times. Let's not forget that Greek god of a body with muscles practically bulging out of his three piece black and white suit. On his wrist is a diamond encrusted Rolex watch, "I wonder what people will think when a picture of you harassing multiple ladies goes public and the case against you gets stronger?" Arthur said narrowing his eyes at Lewis who shivered in fear. "Mr Smith, I believe whatever is going on does not involve you at all", the old man said trying to sound courageous in front of the multibilloniare. "I only want the girl", Arthur said looking into my eyes with an unknown emotion in his eyes.
