Samika's POV
We have been waiting for Paxton at his home for a while now. The servants keep telling Devon and I that he'll be home soon.
"What are we going to do with Melissa?" I ask Devon in a whisper and he shrugs.
"We shall leave that to her father. I bet he will be more than interested to know what his daughter was conspiring against you," Devon says.
I understand why Melissa is doing this. She wasn't ready to accept defeat. Devon was all she wanted but he is someone she couldn't get because of me. But what I don't understand is, the link between Melissa and Paxton.
"If he was Alpha's son, who could the Alpha be? Of what pack?" I ask Devon in a whisper again and he shushes me since we are in human land.
"I don't know. It's something we should find out rather than discussing
