Duty

 I wake up to the alarm I set. My body hurts and I feel very weak. I slept in my clothes, so I head down to the bathroom to do my business. I head to the kitchen and see Julie and Tom just getting so fresh coffee going before we start cooking. I start with the biscuits and Julie starts the sausage and gravy. Then Tom starts the royal special meals that they like every morning. They never eat the same food as everyone else. All of a sudden, I started seeing a little sharper then normal. I think it’s just my mind playing tricks with me because I’m starving all then time and over worked. We cook in silence since we are not friends. I’m shocked I’m not getting dirty looks or smart comments, but we are all over worked ready for this party to end. Before I became a omega I took everyone for granted and didn’t realize how cruel our pack was to the members until they turned on me just because I have no wolf. I made bunch of coffee and fresh orange juice. I miss the taste since I became a omega you don’t get the nice things. All we get is scraps, coffee, and water. I start taking things out to the dinning room to set up. I try to extra help everyone so they will leave me alone. So far with the omegas it’s been helping they have relaxed bossing and pushing me around. Julie comes up behind me. “That looks like everything is out. Now we clean and wait to see what’s left.” I shrug my shoulders “Yea how fun.” She turns and ask “When you were a ranking member how was it?” I turned and say “It was heaven but I took it for granted.” I turned and walked back to the kitchen.
