The King

My name is Roman. The Lycan king. Will the king of all mystery creatures. My beta talked me into going to this pack birthday party thing to see if I could find my mate and queen. I'm 30 and still mateless. My beta Josh and I just showed up to the pack grounds when my Lycan Beast {don't laugh that is what he told me his name was}started getting restless. He tells me something is going to happen. He couldn't tell what but he could feel something. We just pulled up to the pack house and I heard a woman's voice in my head begging for help. So I asked "How can I help little one?" There was a pause. The voice is in so much pain but responds in a scream, she needs help and is scared. I ask "Where are you?" She tells me by the tree line. I can feel her pain and its unbearing pain. I look at my beta. "We are not going in. I just had a woman's voice in my head, scared and needing help. She must be a Lycan since I can hear her. Maybe first time shifting, not sure, but lets go." We got out of the car and started running to the tree line behind the house. Soon as we got to the trees, we could hear a women's voice moaning in pain. I tried to connect to her in my head but a no go. We can smell her scent now and it's a beautiful smell to me. Jasmine smells after it has rained, it was wonderful. My beta saw her figure first and we cautiously walked up to her. It's dark but we can make out her body trying to shift. " Roman, she is fighting it and gonna die if she doesn't allow her Lycan to take over." I knelt down next to her and whispered to her she needed to relax and let my Lycan take over the shift. Besides her talking in my head, we can smell her like a Lycan trying to shift. She starts relaxing and letting her Lycan take over. We watched in amazement her change. You can hear bones breaking and see a beautiful white Lycan appear. She was very weak and she was barely standing up. I asked my beta. " Did you notice on this pack a Lycan family living here? It's odd no one was out here with her." " No Roman, there is nothing in their report about another kind except wolf here. Finally, I hear a voice in my head. "Where am I. Who are you guys? What happened to me?" She kept falling trying to get up and get away from us. I calmly raised my hands and said, " It's ok little one, we are here to help. You reached out to me for help. I could tell her Lycan was talking to her and calming her down. I said, "Can you tell me your name?" She faintly said "Robin" and then fainted and changed back to a human. A plus about us changing is we don't rip off our clothing. She turned back into a beautiful but under weight female wearing a plain uniform dress. Josh asks "What do we do with her now?" "Let's take her to the hospital here and find out who she is." I called the Alpha hear and asked where the hospital was and explained we had found an unconscious female and needed her to get looked at. I picked her up and started feeling sparks everywhere we touched. My eyes went wide. Could it be? Did I just find my mate? I told my beta by mind link, "Hey I think she is my mate." He looked at me and was as shocked as me. We hurried to the infirmary to make sure she was alright. For one thing, I was not letting her out of my site.

I was slowly waking up and could feel sparks from whoever was carrying me. I tried to open my eyes but they were very heavy, and I heard the most amazing voice tell me to relax and the smell was out standing pine and dirt like the woods. I stopped trying to wake up and fell back to sleep. I woke up again and this time hearing voices and there was a bright light shining in my eyes. One vice was my alpha Troy and the other was the stranger I heard tell me to relax. Wait, that was also the voice I heard before fainting. My alpha "You are not taking my omega anywhere?" "Yes I am, since you didn't even know who she was till today, unless you are lying to me. She needs to learn how to control her Lycan and learn our ways." Then there was a third voice, " Alpha Troy, she is a Lycan and needs to be with others to understand her and this pack does not have those abilities. She will go. Plus, do you want a war with the Lycan king?" After that, I heard a huff and footsteps that left. The sweet voice I like hearing says "thanks Alpha Mike." "No problem my king." I froze, wait he said, King like in the Lycan king. Why is he fussing over me? What happened when I fainted? I can't remember anything besides the pain and waking up in someone's arms. I tried to open my eyes and the light was just to bright. Someone said, "turn down the lights. She's trying to wake up." The lights went dim and I could open my eyes. Everything was blurry at first but cleared up. I was in a white room with beeping noises from machines next to me and three men standing by the door. One man was older and dressed in a fancy three-piece suit and then there was the most outstanding looking man, maybe in his thirties. I looked up into his eyes and boom, there were literally sparks and a connection imprinted in my brain. My Lycan screams, mate. My eyes went wide. He smiles at me and everyone melts away. He steps forward and says, "Hi little one."
