Since it was late at night, the pack house was silent. Everyone had gone to their bedrooms.
A car stopped in the yard. Beta Vance got out of the car and opened the door for Daisy.
Daisy stepped out of the car, holding a black suit jacket that was wrapped around her body.
She regained her consciousness in the middle of the road. She wanted to go back to her brother and express her gratitude to him. But Beta Vance turned down her request.
"Everyone must be sleeping. You can slip into your room without any worries. But hurry up, okay?"
