Day #3

Chapter 15 Day #3

    "I want to learn to fight like a wolf!"  Violet pleaded after another match with Alex.  "Sorry Alex but I need a challenge." 

"Absolutely not.  If I hurt you I would never forgive myself." Eli said sternly.  "You are doing so well with your human combat I think wolf fights will come naturally." 

    "I can't show up to my pack and not know how to fight.  What if someone decides they would make a better Alpha because I can't fight? Can't they challenge me or something?"

"Bro she's right. If you don't teach her she won't gain the pack's respect.  Not everyone is just going to let her take over after all this time, no matter her bloodline." Alex says to his brother. "I would do it but I haven't phased yet."

    Eli glared at his brother then looked at Violet with pain in his eyes. "You won't hurt me. I know you will be careful." Violet said softly.

"It's not just that we can't link yet.  So I won't be able to communicate with you.  Until you are introduced to the pack or we finish the mate link, I could hurt you without knowing." Eli sighed.

    "Wait what about our wolves.  They can talk to one another.  Lettie talks about it sometimes." Violet starts.

"Hold on your wolf has a name?" Cora asked.

    "Finally something you don't already know about being a wolf!" Violet said with excitement.  Turning back to Eli she finished her explaining her idea. "They are connected to us and can tell us what is going on.  Like a message runner."

"That might work but I still don't like this." Eli concedes.

    "Come on Eli just look at as some really freaky for play," Alex says snickering. Eli throws the water bottle he was holding at his brother hitting him in the stomach. "ouch! dude not fair." He turns to Cora "They are so touchy." They both laugh.

    "So we got a plan." Violet says pleading with her eyes.

"We have a plan." Eli replies with a sigh. 

    Violet runs behind a tree and gets undressed then shifts into her wolf form.  Will I ever get used to the rush of power and pleasure that comes with phasing she thought to herself. When she walked out Eli had phased as well but had his head down. Violet walked over to him and nudged him with her nose as a sign to him that it will be fine.  He backed up and looked at her.  Lettie then spoke up. They're ready to start.  Elis says you need to keep the high ground in a fight.  The goal in sparing is to get the other on their back and your foot on their throat.  This shows you are the dominate. If it were a real fight you would rip out their throat but. Oh wow. Violet thought when do we start? Alex will start the fight. Just follow your instincts.

    Alex then yelled "In this corner, we have new she-wolf Alpha and undefeated human fighter, Violet. In the other corner, we have pack trainer, lovesick sucker Eli. Ready. Set. Fight!" 

    Eli started to stalk towards Violet, the focus was visible in his blue eyes. Violet took a step to the side watching his footwork.  He started to lunge at Violet's right foot. Violet swung her head hitting Eli's head so he missed her leg, while he was off-balance she shifted her weight and threw her shoulder into him knocking him on to his side.  He got up quickly and ran towards her she lept in the air landing her front to paws on his back and nipping at his ear.  He swapped a paw and her hind legs making her fall into him.  He then bucked his body so she fell on to her back.  You're doing good. Lettie said but now your a little stuck.  Eli was now standing over her.  Violet closed her eyes feigning defeat.  As he brought up his paw she kicked him hard in the gut with her hind legs. Twisting her body back to her stomach knocking him to the ground she quickly flipped him onto his back and pressed a paw to his throat. She then bent down and licked his face. Eli said they want to you to phase back. Lettie informed her.

"That was awesome!" Alex was yelling. "The winner is Violet!"

    She comes back out from behind the tree and runs over to Eli. "I didn't hurt you right?"

"Just my pride," Eli says "That was a stellar move pretending you gave up. I don't think you need to worry about your fighting skills. I wasn't even going easy on you." 

Violet's smile widened.  "Really?" Eli nodded and leaned down and licked her cheek. "yuck what was that for?"

    "Payback," he answered with a twinkle of mischief in his eyes. He looked over his shoulder and saw that Cora was dragging Alex towards the house. He leans down and kisses Violet softly. "We need to talk about what's going to happen tomorrow evening." 

Violet grabs his shorts pulling him towards her "Can't we talk later?" She wraps her arms around his neck and kisses him harder.  Biting his lower lip softly as they pull away. 

    "Oh man, you are driving me, crazy women.  I am trying to be a gentleman here but you are making it so hard." he takes her face in his hands. Then he kisses her forehead.  

"You don't have to be a complete gentleman." She says with a wink.  Laying her head on his chest while putting her arms around his waist.  She turns her head just slightly and kisses his bare chest.

    Eli leans his head down resting his cheek on the top of her head. "We should talk about what happens if we don't complete the steps to being fully mated." 

Violet just hummed in reply not willing to leave his arms. She then realized he said don't. "Why wouldn't we complete it?"

    Eli led her to a log and they sat down. "In case you don't want me as a mate." 

"Eli, of course, I want you for my mate. I can't imagine not having you as my mate." She said with such determination it surprised her.  

    "I am glad to hear that," Eli said with a smile. "We have a few steps we have to take to make it official.  I feel weird about having to tell them to you." 

"Well, if we have to do them then it shouldn't be weird. Right?" Violet said looking slightly annoyed.

    "Right."  He leaned down and started nuzzling the spot on her neck right above the shoulder. She moaned with the pure pleasure of it. He kissed it next. Sending need through Violet's whole body. She starts to push into his lips and he pulls away.  "That is called your marking spot.  The pleasure you get from me touching you there is instinct.  Did you feel your self push into my lips?" Violet nodded still feeling the warmth in the spot where his lips had been. "I am supposed to mark you there. This shows you are mine and no one else. You do it back to me." 

"what do you mean by mark?" Violet asked shyly.

    "I will bite you there and you will bite me." He said carefully.  

"Like bite hard. Draw blood like bite?" Violet asked.

    "Yes but from what I hear it is very euphoric."  he looks at her carefully. "We don't have to do it today.  I don't want to do it until you're ready.  I just want you to know I will not have a valid claim over you without it in the pack. Which means men will hit on you." A flash of anger crosses his eyes. "I will wait as long as I need to you are mine no matter if you have a mark or not."

Violet looked at him "I want you to mark me." 

    "Are you sure Violet? There is more to making it official there is no rush." Eli said quickly.

"I don't want to come into the pack without your mark. I want everyone to know I belong with you." She looked at him knowing just how happy she was making him.  I couldn't stand to see him hurt and angry because of stupid boys not respecting our bond she thought. 

     She stood from the log and faced Eli.  She then put his legs in between hers and sat down straddling him. She kissed his forehead then laid soft kisses down his jawline stopping at his ear, nipping the lobe softly.  She continued the line of kisses down his neck and as she got close to his marking spot she gets the urge to sink her teeth in.  She licked it teasingly.  Then kissing it softly. Eli moaned and grabbed her hips planting her against him. "Do it, Violet." Eli groaned digging his fingers into her hips. "Mark me." he pleaded.  Instinct took over as Violet licked the spot one more time. Her eye teeth engorged has she sunk them into his neck. He gasped in surprise from the sudden pain that quickly turned into pure ecstasy.  He moaned grabbing her head and pulling tighter to her mouth she retracted her teeth and licked the hole to seal the mark then kissed the spot.  Working her way up to his mouth. He opened his lips in welcome as his tongue entered her mouth with urgency.  

     Who knows how long they had been kissing on the log for. When Eli finally took over standing up holding onto Violet with one arm. He laid her on a small patch of grass.  Then he bent down to mark his mate.  Pleasure, heat, and pure love filled the moment.  When they finally stopped for breath they realized they were not alone.
