As my eyes fluttered open, I found myself engulfed in an ethereal haze, my surroundings bathed in a soft, otherworldly light. Blinking in confusion, I slowly sat up, my senses reeling as she took the unfamiliar surroundings. Gone was the familiar comfort of my bedroom and the comforting scent of my mum’s rose potpourri. Instead, I found myself in a cave, unlike anything I’ve ever seen—a realm so mysterious and beautiful that it seemed to stretch on into infinity. As I rose to my feet, my heart began to race with a mixture of fear and exhilaration. Where was I ? How had I ended up in this strange and magical place? With a sense of trepidation, I began to explore my surroundings, my footsteps barely making a sound on the soft, mossy ground beneath my feet. As I wandered inside the cave, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was being watched—by whom or what, I couldn’t say. Suddenly, a voice echoed through the mist, sending a chill down my spine. “Welcome, princess,” it whispered, its tone both haunting and mesmerizing. Turning towards the sound of the voice, I saw a figure emerging from the corner of the cave—a tall, cloaked figure with eyes that seemed to glow with an otherworldly light. Instinctively, I took a step back remembering the same eyes from grandma’s house, my heart pounding with a mixture of fear and awe. But as the figure drew nearer, my fear began to melt away, replaced by a sense of curiosity and wonder. Who was this mysterious stranger, and what role did they play in what’s happening to me? With a deep breath, I summoned the courage to speak. “Where am I?” I asked, her voice barely above a whisper. The figure smiled—a knowing, enigmatic smile that sent shivers down my spine. “You have entered the Enchanted Realm,”it replied, sill hiding behind the shadows so that only their outline and a little part of its face visible . It’s voice echoing through the mist. “A world of magic and mystery, where the lines between reality and fantasy blur.” Why have you been following me ? I asked getting angrier by the second I’m Taurus your guardian, it replied stepping into the light and removing its cloak,a man with a white hair with the greenest eyes I’ve ever seen emerged and as he removed his cloak from his body a pair of wings emerged spreading out from his back. I’m Taurus of the fairy tribe and I come in peace he repeated. He stood majestically in front of me,why why …. have you been following me? I asked again this time stammering a bit. “Long ago,” he continued, his voice taking on a reverent tone, “our ancestors were chosen by the goddess herself to be the guardians of the Enchanted Kingdom—the mortal vessels through which her divine power would flow. They were tasked with upholding the laws of the realm, protecting its inhabitants, and ensuring that the balance between light and darkness was maintained.” As I listened to his words, she felt a sense of awe wash over her, as if she were being drawn into the very heart of the story he was telling. She had always knew she was different , but now she understood that this ran deeper than she had ever imagined. “Your family,” he continued, “is the true lineage of the gods—the descendants of those who were chosen by the goddess to rule over the Enchanted Kingdom as its rightful monarchs. Your grandmother took responsibility for her and your mother’s And now, Sarah, it is your destiny to take your place as the next queen of our realm—to uphold the legacy of our ancestors and to ensure that the light of the goddess continues to shine brightly for all eternity.” Grandma never told me anything, I replied shocked at what I just heard as I fell back in disbelief I sat beside the book,as my mind reeled from the revelation of my lineage. As I pondered the weight of what he said, a soft voice interrupted my thoughts, he stepped closer to me, bearing a small, ornate chest in his hands. "Amelia," the guardian said, his voice gentle yet resolute, "I come bearing gifts—tokens of truth that will illuminate the path that lies ahead." Intrigued, I watched as the guardian bent down placed the chest upon the book, his eyes alight with a sense of purpose. With a flick of his wrist, he opened the chest, revealing a collection of yellowed parchment and delicate envelopes sealed with wax. "These," the guardian explained, gesturing to the contents of the chest, "are letters and notes penned by your beloved grandmother—a woman of great wisdom and foresight, who understood the importance of preserving our family's history and guiding its future From the the evil queen Morgana who’s rule has sent the kingdom towards fraught and chaos" As I reached out to examine the ancient documents, I felt a shiver of anticipation run down my spine. These were relics of my family's past—fragments of a story that had been lost to time, waiting to be uncovered and cherished once more. With trembling fingers, I began to read, my eyes widening with wonder and awe as I absorbed the words written by my grandmother's hand. In the letters, my grandmother spoke of her own journey of discovery, of the trials and tribulations she had faced in embracing her destiny as the guardian of the Enchanted Kingdom and as a mother and grandmother, even writing about childhood memories we experienced together But amidst the tales of adventure and revelation, there was a thread of love and guidance that ran through each word—a reminder that I was never alone and how sorry she was that I was finding out this way, and that her ancestors would always be with me and Taurus watching over my every step of the way. As soon as I finished reading the last of her grandmother's notes, I looked up to find the guardian watching me with a knowing smile. "These letters," he said, "are a testament to the truth of your lineage—to the divine power that flows through your veins and the destiny that awaits you as the next queen of the Enchanted Kingdom." But the guardian was not finished yet. With a flourish, he produced a small, shimmering bracelet from the depths of his cloak—a bracelet adorned with intricate runes and symbols that seemed to dance in the candlelight. "This," the guardian said, presenting the bracelet to me, "is a magical artifact passed down through generations of our family—a gift from the goddess herself, imbued with the power to guide and protect you on your journey." With trembling hands, I accepted the bracelet, feeling its warmth seep into my skin as if it were alive with energy. I knew this bracelet my grandmother was always wearing it, always.
