Stepping into his penthouse, Colton's phone buzzed in his pocket. Reaching for it, he saw that it was his Mom. He sighed, then tossed his phone on a nearby table. He proceeded to the kitchen for a bottle of water. By the time he returned to the living room, his phone had stopped ringing.?
Opening the cap of the bottle, he gulped down some water. His phone ran again. It was his Mom. Putting the bottle on the table, he reached for the phone and answered the call.
"Hi Mom"?
"Hi, Baby. How are you?"?
"I'm fine, Mom. How's Dad?" He asked, taking a seat on a nearby couch.?
"Good to hear. Your Dad is fine. He's in the study making some calls. We both got back this morning. I wanted to call you earlier but figured out you would be busy. That's why I waited until this time."
