Alexis's POV
I enjoyed meeting Rick's brother, even if our introduction was a bit unorthodox. It wasn't that I was embarrassed to have been caught in Rick's bed. I wouldn't have wanted Mr. Manchester to walk in on us last night either, but that was a different situation altogether. That was my boss and we'd just made love in his office.
I had just hoped that Rick and I could relax and spend the morning together. There were so many things I still didn't know about him yet. I didn't even know if he ate breakfast.
Personally, I was a take your coffee and run to work type of person.
Last night was incredible. We had lain in each other's arms for hours talking. I felt closer to Rick than I had to any other person I'd ever met. I had never felt so connected to another person before.
