“No, no, I don’t want to do that show. I told you I’m taking a break.” A voice spoke up as my eyes kept closed. My body felt like it didn’t want to move, but it was warmer now, much warmer than I last remembered. Slowly, I tried to open my eyes. “Devon, I’m not doing any appearances and that’s final. Leave me be.” Once I managed to get my one eye open, I spotted Thane sitting on a chair by the window. It was bright and it hurt my eyes so I couldn’t fully open them both. He looked rather stressed and he held onto his phone tightly. Any tighter than that and he could break it into pieces. “Mm…” I let out minimal noises as I turned my head to gather where I was. Bright lights, all white walls, the sound of medicine and the beeping of machines - there was no doubt this was the hospital.
