Chapter 30: The Morning After

Oh god, my head. Oh my brain. My fifty year old bones. I don’t know which hurts the most, but all I know is pain and suffering as of the moment. What the heck was I thinking drinking that much alcohol and jumping up and down the table like I was still young and- wait… I am still young, but partying is not my forte.  I learned that lesson the hard way as my head ached terribly and I groaned in pain on the pillow, screaming my agony into the abyss.  “Ughhhh, my heaaaaad. Where’s coffee when you need it?!?!” I buried my face onto the pillow and curled into a ball hoping that this would somehow make my body forget the stupid things I did last night. “Your wish is my command.” My eyes shot open as I tried to process if I heard the sound of a man talking or if it was just in my imaginations.
